Day Four - Person Four - Ester
I was rapidly running out of time in my day and starting to panic. Alright it was only a bit after lunch but well I panic easily and was worried that I wouldn't find another "stranger" to ask for the day. Then I found myself in Loot shopping and thought "Aha!" I had seen Ester before when I had been in there but had never struck up a conversation and certainly didn't know her name.
Ester doesn't just work in the shop, she also owns it. Loot is a treasure trove of beautiful and different pieces for the home obviously chosen by someone with a knack for this sort of thing.
Asked what she had wanted to be as a child, Ester replied that she didn't really know. We discussed the topic for a bit and a lot of other things actually (as you do) however for the purposes of this blog and answering THE question in the end we had to get to a final answer.
So here it is. Ester always just assumed that she would be a wife and mother and given the wonderful example of her own busy mother managing to combine raising 7 children and rural life with all of its diversity and busyness - she also knew that parenting could be done, very well in fact, alongside whatever it was that she decided to do later in life, which, as it turned out, was to own a successful business.
